Meet Our Team
Patty Long, D.C.– While born and raised in Texas, Dr. Long experienced first hand the
incredible life altering affects of chiropractic care. She decided to pursue her God chosen career of changing lives and attended Texas Tech University and Parker Chiropractic College where she received her Bachelors of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1996. Upon graduation, Dr. Long practiced in Texas until family brought her to Alabama. She now lives in Meridianville with her wonderful husband of 14 years, Chris, and five beautiful children, Christian 11, Dayne 9, J.T. 5, Colt 2, and Trinity 6 weeks. Dr. Long is actively involved in her children's school, as well as actively participating in her family's home church. Fitness, dancing, reading, and lecturing also fill her "leisure" hours. Because her interests lie with true health and wellness, Dr. Long does not focus on pain and symptoms, but rather provides care based on the entire person. This "whole person approach" to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatevernterventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Her patients receive care based on the human body's ability to heal itself when interferences such as metal toxicity, poor nutrition, and subluxations are removed. Using this unique approach, Dr. Long is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Since 2007, Dr. Long has been training with Dr. Dan Pompa, D.C., world renowned expert on neurotoxicity. Dr. Long spends countless hours educating herself and others on the affects of modern day toxins and "new millenium disease" in an effort to better care for her patients and the community. She knows first hand how dealing with neurotoxicity can alter one's life, having dealt with heavy metal issues herself. Dr. Long's goal is to give people power through knowledge to make necessary lifestyle changes in order to truly reach their God given health potential. What better place to affect that potential than with children? Therefore, Dr. Long's love for children has led her to obtain a Fellowship in Pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is working toward a Diplomate in Pediatrics. Dr. Long is also a Hope for Autism Practitioner and incorporates bionutritional care into her practice. She holds extensive post-graduate studies in the fields of nutrition, neurotoxic mediated illness, pediatrics, spinal correction and rehabilitation, acupuncture, and applied kinesiology.
Angie Holzheimer, C.A. - The chipper voice you first hear and the smile you first see upon arriving at our clinic belongs to Ms. Angie. She brings both with her everyday to help patients overcome their obstacles. She is living proof that laughter goes a long way in recovery.
Angie is originally an "Army brat" and has her roots firmly planted all over the world. She does, however, consider the Greater Huntsville area her long time home. Thru God guided feet, she was lead to Long Chiropractic and joined the family in January of 2009. Prior to joining our team, Angie experienced first hand how chiropractic can save lives. She brings with her many years of training in chiropractic, to include extensive experience regarding patient care, insurance billing, and physical therapy.
